Could not approve commission
Admin approve action returned 500 Could not approve commission. (generic catch after more specific errors).
Why this happens
Unexpected DB/ops failure, or a state the handler did not map to a clearer message. Specific gates (reversal disabled, paid final, cannot restore) return their own strings first.
Diagnose and fix
1. Retry once; refresh the commission row in Affiliate commissions ledger.
2. Check server logs for the underlying exception.
3. Confirm the commission is still pending and not already paid/reversed.
4. See reversal-disabled articles if you were reversing, not approving.
