Send visitors to /prep before the download landing page. Defaults off. Premium direct download can skip it.

Pre-download page

When on, visitors hitting a public file URL are sent to an interstitial /prep/{fileId} before the normal download landing page.

Where to find it

Admin → Settings → Mods → Public pages → Pre-download page

Setting key: toggle.efp (defaults off — only on when explicitly enabled)

How it works

  • Continue from prep reaches the landing with a bypass flag so they are not looped
  • When this mod is off, /prep redirects to the landing
  • Design the chrome under Design → Pre-download (Pre-download page chrome)
  • Member direct download (Premium/Pro, site on + member opt-in) can mint /d/ and skip prep + landing

Common problems

Double wait (prep + countdown)

Prep is on and Users limits still has a long countdown. Shorten one of them if support complains.

Premium still sees prep

Site Member direct download off, or the member never enabled it under Manage Account → Settings. Test as a guest in a private window for the public path.
