How it works
When off, the flow typically starts the download (or hands off the URL) without that intermediate page. When on, users get a clear “here is your temporary link” screen — useful when grants expire quickly.
Common problems
Users bookmark /d/ links and they die
Expected — temp links expire (Symlink expiry). Share the public file URL instead.
