Why this happens
Generic verify failure — connectivity, unknown status, or missing status key mapping. After grace ends, the longer Admin → Settings message may appear instead.
Diagnose and fix
1. Ensure the server can reach xfileultra.com.
2. Re-enter/activate a valid key under Admin → Settings.
3. See License required / License could not be verified.
4. See Network error while activating the license. Check that this server can reach xfileultra.com.
