Why this happens
Safety gate so files are not orphaned. Soft-trash may use a related “confirm / transfer first” wording; purge requires files gone or moved.
Diagnose and fix
1. Transfer queue — move files between servers to another active server, or delete files intentionally.
2. Confirm zero active files, then purge from Trash.
