Whitelisted IPs

Per-user IP allowlist for uploads, SFTP, and owner downloads. Zero entries = no lock. Not a sign-in ban inverse.

Whitelisted IPs

Restrict which IPs may upload, use SFTP ingest, or download as owner for a given user.

Where to find it

Admin → UsersWhitelisted IPs (/admin/users/whitelist). Also Edit user → IP allowlist.

How it works

Add allowed IP by User # or username (Look up), IP, and optional Note (max 500). Lookup shows existing allowlist + recent sign-in IPs (up to 12 from last 40 sessions) for one-click add.

Zero entries = no IP lock. Adding the first entry starts enforcement. This does not restrict sign-in/register. Guest downloads of public files are not locked to the uploader's allowlist. Exact IP only - no CIDR.

Common problems

First IP locked the member out of uploads

Wrong first IP blocks upload/SFTP/owner download until fixed or removed.

Confused with bans

Not a global safe-IP list and not the opposite of Banned users / IPs.
