Approve affiliate on register

When on, new sign-ups are automatically affiliate-approved (isAffiliateApproved) for password and social registration.

Where to find it

Admin → Settings → Settings (first tab) → Registration & login → Approve affiliate on register

Setting key: register_auto_approve_affiliate (default off)

How it works

Skips manual approve-as-affiliate on each user. The Affiliate system master switch must still be on for commissions to matter (Affiliate system).

Also unlocks the related Approve webmaster on register control in the UI.

Common problems

Everyone is an affiliate overnight

Left on with open registration. Turn off; approve manually from Admin → Users when needed.

Approved but no commissions

Affiliation disabled, no attributed sales, hold period, or fraud rules. See Affiliate commissions wrong.
