Public folder comments
Show Comments on public folder pages. Separate from file comments. Defaults off.
Public folder comments
When enabled, public folder pages show a Comments section. When disabled, comments are hidden on folder pages only.
Where to find it
Admin → Settings → Files → Uploads → Public folder comments
Setting key: toggle.public_folder_comments (defaults off)
Separate from Enable file comments on download pages.
Common problems
Spam on folders
Turn on Captcha on comments and use the bad-words filter.
Expected comments on files, not folders
That is Enable file comments, not this switch.
