Remote URL upload not allowed for your plan
Remote URL import is blocked for this member’s billing tier. The Remote URL tab may show feedback before submit, and the API returns 403.
Why this happens
Users & limits → Block remote URL upload is on for that tier (toggle.ul2_remote_url_reg / _prem / _prem_pro — on means blocked). Different from site-wide “Remote URL upload is disabled on this site” when the Mods → Remote URL upload switch is off.
Diagnose and fix
1. Admin → Settings → Users & limits → Block remote URL upload — turn off for tiers that should import by URL.
2. Per-user override if only one account should differ.
3. Confirm Mods → Remote URL upload (toggle.remote_url_upload_mod) is on, or the whole feature stays hidden/disabled.
4. Ask the member to refresh /upload after you save.
