Invalid parent folder

Create folder returned 400 Invalid parent folder. for the parent id.

Why this happens

Parent missing, not a folder, or not owned/accessible. Distinct from Enter a folder name (child name empty).

Diagnose and fix

1. Create under an existing folder from the library tree (or root as allowed).

2. Refresh if the parent was just deleted.

3. See Destination folder does not exist for move targets.
