Image too large to preview
The image preview endpoint refused the file because it is over the inline preview size cap (about 25 MiB). Product text asks you to create a download link instead.
Why this happens
/{id}/preview streams for in-page viewing and hard-limits size to protect bandwidth and memory. Resize mode (auto/standard/custom) only applies to files under the cap. Full download via grant still follows normal download rules.
Diagnose and fix
1. Visitor: use Create download link / Download — not the inline preview.
2. Admin: cap is a code constant today — not raised in Users & limits.
3. Same family as audio/video/document “too large to preview” messages.
4. If smaller images also fail, check Image Mod / hide-preview settings and storage health.
