Coinbase Commerce checkout is not enabled — add API credentials
Starting a Coinbase Commerce checkout failed the enable assert. Product: add API credentials in Admin → Settings → Payment and turn on Coinbase Commerce checkout.
Why this happens
Same root cause as the short “not configured” message — used when code asserts readiness before creating a charge.
Diagnose and fix
1. Fill API key; enable checkout; save webhook secret if used.
2. Confirm the Coinbase Commerce account is active.
3. Retry; if enabled but no URL returns, see Coinbase Commerce did not return a hosted checkout URL.
