How it works
Layout & spacing sets content spacing, boxed/full width, and padding. About and link columns are TipTap HTML. Column 4 holds share-us and social/contact toggles (fresh defaults: share on; social off until you enable URLs).
Copyright can hide the strip while keeping saved text. Colors: Colors — Footer.
Common problems
Copyright text deleted after hiding
Hide only removes the strip; text stays saved until you clear it.
Icon uploaded but footer unchanged
Column-4 icon uploads use a separate API - still click Save settings for the rest of the form.
